— What is it with secrets, sex, lies and did I mention sex?

For Camille, she has had her fair share of them all. From A Secret Worth Keeping to Ms. Nice Nasty. What’s next? Yea, she has always proclaimed to be “unapologetically Cam” but when it seems like the world around her is beginning to tumble down, she has to face some real truths about whom she really is and who she wants to be.

With the help or the badgering of her therapist, Camille is able to finally confront a demon from her past. She, tearfully, admits the ultimate betrayal that forced her to hide the person she once was and become the person we’ve grown to love (or hate).

In, Cam’s Confession, we get to see how the façade of Cam was created to mask her pain and how it’s become first nature. Yes, in the courtroom, Camille commands the attention but in the bedroom; it’s Cam that is laying down the law!

You got to know Cam in A Secret Worth Keeping and even better in Ms. Nice Nasty but in this special edition of Ms. Nice Nasty, Cam’s Confession; Camille finally breaks her silence and lets you in on a little more of her personal life. She’s still the erotic vixen you love to hate but is she ready to let Cam go in order to save her marriage and possibly her career? Will therapy finally give her the breakthrough she needs to let the secret life go? Or will Cam still be in denial about it all? Find out in this 11,000 word addition of Ms. Nice Nasty.

Also, get a sneak peek into Ms. Nice Nasty 2 with a look into the first two unedited chapters.

Daily Devotional – 9/17/15 “You have a part!”

You can’t expect God to do for you what you’re not ready for. Let that marinate in your spirit for a minute. You cannot expect God to do for you, what you are not ready for. That’s like me pushing a child to drive that I know isn’t ready. That’s like me jumping in the deep end of the pool when I know I can’t swim. That’s like, the older folk say, writing a check your butt can’t cash. Yea, it has the potential to end in disaster. Beloved, you can’t get angry with God when He won’t bless you with a car note when you can’t manage the bills you have now. You cannot be angry at the fact that no new doors are opening for you when you are unappreciative of the current door you’re standing in. You can’t be upset at the fact that Pastor hasn’t called your name, again, for anything when you didn’t even follow through with the little bit he or she put you in charge of last time. Prepare yourself to lead and then you’ll be deemed a leader. Prepare yourself to be a lender and then you’ll stop being the borrower. Prepare yourself to be a wife and you’ll stop being the girlfriend. Prepare yourself to be the husband and you’ll stop being boyfriend. Prepare yourself for the career and you’ll stop finding those dead-end jobs. Prepare yourself for your purpose and you’ll stop looking at your past.

You can’t receive something greater if you aren’t expecting something greater. What do you want? When an addict goes to rehab, what is it that they want? Usually it’s with an expectancy to get clean and sober. When a woman in labor goes to the hospital, it’s usually with an expectancy to give birth. When an unsaved person goes seeking God, it’s usually with an expectancy to find God. What are you expecting? When you go to work, don’t you expect to get paid for your services rendered? When you go to the barbershop or salon, don’t you expect to get what you paid for? Then what are you expecting? What are you expecting woman of God, man of God? What are you expecting Pastor, Rev. Bishop, Apostle? What are you expecting child of the king? When will you get up off of your mat of misfortune, your bed of but I, your shell of should have and do something? God won’t give you anything that you can’t handle and He surely won’t give you something you’re not ready for. When will you be ready to receive?

Daily Devotional – 9/16/15 “Increase Declaration!”

I’m starting a new job on today with the same company. I don’t call it starting a new job, I’m calling it starting a new assignment because I know that it’s God sending me somewhere new for something greater. Am I nervous? Yes but I’m also excited and I know that I have some great expectations to fill but I’m walking into this assignment ready. I’m walking in with my head held high because I got some unshakeable faith that God got me! Yea, I got some big shoes to fill but baby, I’m going in like I wear a size 13 shoe when I know good and well my size is an 8 but guess what … My favor will cover the rest!

And it’s the same for you. I declared on yesterday an increase in my life but not only for me but for everybody associated with me (that’s you). However, the only way you can get the increase, you’ve got to believe it. Yea, I know you checked the refrigerator and it’s still low, your checking account is still negative, your medicine bottle is still empty and you’re still in pain, your family is still chaotic, you’re still without a job, the enemy is still camped around your ministry and it seems like God isn’t answering your prayer but baby get your faith up! If every time the storm comes, your faith dwindles, there’s a problem. You need to get your faith up! I said I declared a increase on yesterday, I didn’t say I received it yet but I got my faith up and I’m expecting it! What are you expecting? Get out of your pity! I know it’s easier to stay there but get up. Get out of where you’re comfortable because I’ve found that’s where God can use you! I’ve declared an increase and I’m expecting it for me and for you. I want mine, what about you?

Daily Devotional – 9/11/15 “Your new assignment!”

Today is the last day in my old assignment (old job) and in a few days I will begin a new one. And although I am sad to be leaving the old, I am excited about starting the new. Now, as I was writing the very first sentence, I was guided to tell somebody that you need to be prepared to leave your old assignment soon. Yea, it’s scary to step into something new but get excited because God is about to manifest some things that’s about to blow even your mind. However, in order for these things to happen; you’ve got to be ready to leave your old dwelling place, your old assignment and maybe even some old folk. Are you willing? Yes, I get it … It’s hard to let go of what you’re comfortable of but how’s that been working for you? I know you’ve been on that job for years but you’re not going anywhere and it’s not utilizing your gifts. Oh, I know you’ve been a member of the church since you were knee-high to a duck but baby; your spirituality has been stunted. Yea, I get that fact that you’re complacent in those friendships but if they are doing you more harm than good, it may be time to renegotiate the terms of the agreement.

Don’t you get it? God can’t move you if you’re intent on being grounded and unmovable. God can’t use you if you are usable. And God surely won’t elevate you out of the old when you are not prepared for the new. This is why the bible says in Ephesians 4:22-23, “throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.” For when you put away the old and get ready to step into the new, you’ll be ready to, Like Ephesians 4:24 say, “Put on your new nature, created to be like God–truly righteous and holy.” God is getting ready, in this season, to shift some folk into some new assignments but we have to be ready, willing and able. And once we are in the assignment, we still have to be ready, willing and able. And being ready, willing and able isn’t only by saying you are but it’s about living like you are. Not perfect living because none of us are perfect but it’s striving to be greater than we were the day before. Are you ready for your new assignment? If not, get ready!

Daily Devotional – 9/10/15 “The eye of your storm!”

You may be in the midst of your storm with stuff being shuffled all around you and it feels like you’re about to lose your mind. Your finances are in chaos, family going through hell, church folk got you stressing, spouse has you drinking, job got you thinking about walking off when you know good and well you can’t afford to miss a check and you’re trying to figure out which way to go when both seem wrong … Well, baby push through! Don’t you know that even in the midst of a storm there is an eye where the sky is clear, the wind is light and the weather is calm? It’s in the center of the storm which means you have to pass through the storm to get to it. Yea, I know it’s hard and the wind of hurt is pushing you but go. I know it hurts and the negativity, pain, abuse, misuse, being lied on, talked about, cast aside and being stepped on keeps hitting you on every side but go. Yea, I know the tears of shame, mistakes, regret, could have, should have, what if and all that is blurring your vision but go. Why? Because the Lord, our God has already gone ahead of us to ensure thangs work out. You don’t have to take my word for it but the bible doesn’t lie and Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

Beloved look, go through whatever it is you’re going through at this appointed time. Push through whatever it is you don’t think you are strong enough to get through. Praise in and out of whatever it is folk are saying about you because when it’s all said and done, you’ll make it to the eye of your storm where there is calm and peace. Don’t give up now when you are almost there. Will it be perfect in the eye of your storm? No, but God has made sure there is protection, provision and most of all prosperity there. Will all of your troubles go away? No but there you’ll find a recharging station to revive the dead places in your spirit that’ll give you strength to go back into battle ready to fight. Will this be the end of your storms? Probably not but the bible says in Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Whatever it is you’re facing at this moment in your life, don’t count it out as being for a purpose. Go through your storm because in the midst of it, there is peace, calm and clear skies but you have to go through it to get to it.
