When you walk in the purpose God has for your life, you are essentially letting the enemy know, he should have killed you when he had the chance. See, the enemy knows you have potential otherwise he wouldn’t bother and when you push through the pain, insecurities, disappointments, fall downs and etc. you are defying the odds he’s placed against your life. Beloved, the enemy is betting against you, every time and it’s his hope you don’t make it through. He’s hoping today is the day you give up. He’s pacing hoping today is the day you stop praying. He needs you to throw in the towel, hang your head in shame and give up because it is then his bet against you pays off. Yea, in fact, he wishes you’d hurry up and die. This is why you can’t give up. This is why you cannot stop. This is why today you’ve got to make it up in your mind that ‘I shall live and not die!’ And not just live but live in God trusting Him enough to be greater than you were yesterday. No, I don’t know what you’re going through, I am not abreast of what you’re dealing with, I don’t know the pain you laid down with, I don’t even know if you have money to pay your bills let alone eat but I know a God who is capable of pulling us out of our situations and providing.
Child of God, the enemy is whispering in your ear telling you to let go. He has set up camp in the living room of your house and he is taunting you to come to him. He may have even gotten into the children’s room and now they are acting out but it’s because he tried you and failed and now he’s going after anybody connected to you. Sickness is attacking your spouse and the enemy is telling you to be angry at God. Death showed up in your family and now the enemy is telling you to question God. You’re questioning why God is allowing your church to suffer and the enemy has you thinking it’s because of you but man/woman of God, hold on! Don’t you dare give up! Don’t you even think about throwing in the towel! Don’t you dare close that cell door! Don’t you dare die on me! God needs you or else He wouldn’t have allowed you to walk on top of the ground this morning. So, hold your head up – the hell with what ‘they’ say. Throw out those pills and pour out that alcohol, you won’t need it. Put the pen down, you won’t write your obituary today. And get out of those grave-clothes – it’s not your time to die.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10
