Our Father in Heaven, It is me again petitioning your throne with praise and thanksgiving. God, I come humbly before you asking you to search my heart and remove anything or anyone that may hinder me from doing you will. God, right now I thank you because you didn’t have to allow me a mind to want to pray and you didn’t have to bless me with your anointing but you have so I’ve got to thank you. Now, oh God, I come on behalf of marriages. God, divorce rates are up because many have forgotten the terms of the contract they’ve entered into and there aren’t enough of us down on our knees so we need you more than ever. Father, husbands are no longer providing and their families are barely surviving. Wives don’t love like they should and husbands don’t support like they could. Husbands are slacking of their roles as the head because the wife is too stubborn to learn what her role really is. Oh, God we’re on a downward spiral and we need your guidance. Deliver the minds of the husbands and wives who find it easier to walk away instead of growing stronger in their storms. Deliver the husband who has turned to alcohol instead of his wife after losing his job. Deliver the wife who has turned to prescription drugs instead of her husband after the diagnosis of cancer. Deliver the mind of the husband who finds joy belittling or abusing his wife whom God has blessed him with and the wife who finds joy in beating her husband down with her negative attitude instead of helping him up. God, heal the marriages that are on the verge of divorce, if it is in your plan. Heal the pain that has been caused by adultery, lying and stealing. Heal the hate that has been caused by past relationships that are now causing hell in the new relationships. God, strengthen every husband who believes in you so that his Christian life is stronger, so that he can be the head of his household and pray over his family without being ashamed, praise in the midst of his storms without caring about whose looking, can admire/compliment his wife without harsh criticism, make her smile when he walks into a room and make her feel like a million bucks even though she is dressed in Wal-Mart clothes. God, touch him now so that he can raise sons who want to follow in his footsteps and so that he can continue to work for you. God strengthen every wife who believes in you so that her Christian life is stronger, so that she won’t be ashamed to stand behind her husband who is the head, so that her prayer life is stronger in order to pray over her family, so that she too can rejoice in the midst of their storm, shout for the good and bad, teach her daughters how to be virtuous women, pick up the pieces when her spouse needs help, take care of her family during sickness, feed them when the refrigerator is almost empty, make her husband feel like a King on a poor man’s salary, isn’t ashamed to shop at Goodwill to clothe her family and isn’t scared to stand with her husband when the world is telling her to leave. God I am claiming victory over marriages because they shall not be defeated. Comfort those who need to feel your arms around them, give hope to those who feel theirs slipping away and wipe the tears of those who can’t seem to stop theirs from flowing. God do it now because I know that you can and I believe that you will. Marriages will not be defeated because I am speaking all these things as though they are. I come before you God, speaking deliverance over life, marriage, situations and whatever battle is being fought, RIGHT NOW! God, I pray for the decrease of divorce and the increase of commitment. God, I pray for the decrease of abuse and the increase of love. God, I pray for the decrease of giving up and the increase of coming together. Oh God, today I pray for the sustaining of every marriage bond that you’ve consecrated so that they grow together in love. I thank you for prayer and now I submit this too because it shall be so; in your name God. Amen

Daily Devotional – 10/24/13 “3rd day of prayer – Prayer for Men”
God, my Heavenly Father, it is me once again petitioning your throne in prayer. God, as I come to you I must first thank you for another day of your anointing, another opportunity to walk on top of the ground, another chance to repent, another moment to live, another minute to love and another second to do what you have destined me to do. God, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who abides in me and intercedes on my behalf. Now, God, I’ve come before your fountain asking a special prayer for the refilling of our men, those whose cup of hope is running low, whose bottle of joy is almost empty, whose jug of happiness seems to have a hole and whose bucket of living seems to be leaking. God, I ask a special prayer for the Ministers, Reverends, Preachers, Bishops and all those who proclaim your word because they are being attacked on every side. God, they are under attack by the sheep they lead, they are under attack from enemies who try to tear them down, they are under attack by others who are supposed to share the same belief and they are even under attack in their own home; they need your touch now. God, there’s a daddy who is being drug through hell in court although he is doing his best. There is a brother being misused all because he works hard and now his family won’t even treat him right. There is a son being bullied by his peers and too afraid to say anything but God I need you to step in and stop the attack on their life. For the boy or man who is thinking suicide is the answer, show them that it’s not. For the man who is dealing with prostate, colon, breast or any other cancer; diabetes, heart disease, effects from a stroke, arthritis, migraines, high or low blood pressure or any other condition; send healing, if it’s your will. For the one who feels less than a man because he is struggling to provide, make a way for him. For the one who is fighting a demon of being abusive, an alcoholic or drug addicted; cast it out of him right now. For the one who is fighting with the mistakes of his past that are now hindering his present; show him in your word where you say that past things are put away all things are made new if they trust in you. For the one that keeps taking the abuse from the woman who is supposed to love him, give him the strength to walk away. For the one who can’t find a job no matter where he looks, open a new door for him. For the one who is ashamed to go to church, change his heart. For the one who doesn’t believe in you God, convict him now so that he may see the good in you. For the one too proud to ask for help, send the help he needs without him even asking. For the one who needs comforting, wrap your arms around him. For the one who can’t see for the tears, dry them now. For the one dealing with the death of a loved one, send him hope that it’ll be alright. God, I ask you to bless and protect the principal, teacher, guidance counselor, police officer, fireman, doctor, nurse, lawyer, executive, bus driver, cab driver, pilot and any other position held. Go into the prison walls and touch the men that are confined there. Go into the hospitals and touch the ones confined to their bed of affliction. Go into the homes and touch the men with strength so that they can be the head you’ve made them. Go into the alleys and touch the homeless and cover them with your protection. God, I need you to help, heal, restore, renew, break the chains, release strongholds, cast out demons and block any attack that our men face. Do it now God for our men because you’ve made them the head. Do it now for our sons who are supposed to carry the legacy. Do it now for our brothers who may have to step in. Do it God like I know and believe you can. In your name, I submit this prayer. Amen
Daily Devotional – 10/23/13 “4th day of prayer – Prayer for women”
Our Father in Heaven holy is thy name and let your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. God, as I come petitioning your throne this morning, I must again thank you. Thank you for allowing these eyes of mine to open and for them to see all the things you gave me back from yesterday with added mercies from today. God, I thank you for a regulated mind, for strengthened limbs, for family who is doing alright, for a job that’s sustaining, for a car that’s holding on and for friends who actually act like friends. God I thank you simply because you are worthy to be thanked. Now, God I come to you on behalf of women today who need your strength to survive on, your grace to go on, your mercy to maintain, your guidance to guide others, your peace to pass on and your joy on their journey. God, there’s a mother reading this who is in pain, one wondering how to make ends meet to feed her children, one praying for healing of her sick child, one who is trying to provide but the days are getting harder and the nights longer, one who is on the verge of giving up and tired of hearing hold on, one who is searching for a job and still being told no, one who is praying for her child who is in jail, one whose child didn’t come home, one whose child is on drugs and one who just doesn’t know what to do anymore; I need you to see about her now. God, for that mother who is preparing to lay her only child to rest, comfort her. For that daughter who is taking care of her ailing parent, strengthen her. For that sister who is providing for their siblings, provide for her. For that preacher’s wife who feels alone yet trying to be strong, be a company keeper. For that woman who is trying to run a business, trying to get promoted on her job, trying to make it in this man’s world; guide them now. For that wife or girlfriend who is being abused, open her eyes to see the way out you’ve already made and then take it. For that girl who is bullying someone else, open her ears so that she may hear her wrongdoing. For the girl who is being bullied, give her courage to run and tell. For that girl/woman who is contemplating suicide, send someone to them now. For that woman dealing with cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, lupus, MS, high blood pressure, sickle cell, fibroids, blood disease, strokes, migraines and any other condition; send healing. For the woman who is trying to carry her baby to term, protect them both now. For my sister who is suffering with Trigeminal Neuralgia, send her healing now. For the woman who has to be the head of her house, the provider, the nurse to the children, the cook, driver, homework helper, punishment giver and personal shopper; give her what she needs to carry on. For that principal, teacher, teacher assistant and guidance counselors; give them the knowledge they need to help our children. For the woman who doesn’t feel loved, increase her self-confidence so that she may first love herself. For the minister, evangelist, prophetess, preacher, missionary and all those who proclaim your word to your people; continually to increase your wisdom in them so that they don’t lead your people astray. God, for every woman reading this I ask you to be all they need. Be the light on their dark path, the joy in their sorrow and their hope for today and tomorrow. Touch them, oh God, so that everything they touch that is in your name is bountifully blessed from their health to their finances. Do it God for the women on today. Do it now because I ask in your name. Continue to bless us God and continue to make us stronger on our Christian walk. These blessings I ask and this prayer I submit in your name. Amen
