Daily Devotional – 9/1/16 “It’s my blog-a-versary!”

Do you know what today is? It’s my blog-a-versary! Yes! It’s been five (5) years since I started penning this blog and my how things have changed. I’ve published over 1100 posts and I’ve had them read all over the world. I’ve been connected with people through prayer and even had a great gentleman send me bracelets that I was honored to share with others. I’ve seen the following of the blog groBlog-a-versaryw as well as the anointing over my life. I never imagined doing anything like this. It never even crossed my mind. All I was doing was minding my own business and posting a few statuses on Facebook yet God had other plans.

And I am so grateful that His plans are always better than ours. I’ve enjoyed the many years. I’m forever grateful to each of you who follow the blog, read, leave comments, share with others and even encourage me. I appreciate you! I really do. See, I could continue to write blogs but what good would it do if no one reads them? This is why I need YOU to know that I am grateful for you. This blog, God’s anointing over my life, God’s favor that rest upon me; it’s not for me but it’s so I can “Go ye therefore and teach all nations…” Please understand, it hasn’t been easy and I had no idea how much this anointing cost but when I accepted the calling on my life, I agreed to pay it through my sweat, tears, restless nights, many emails, phone calls, text messages and inboxes. I recognize and realize that this thing isn’t about Kisha and I am good with that because I have the faith to know that what God ordains, He’ll maintain.

And I bet you wouldn’t believe what my first blog was … It was “WTF – Where’s the Faith?” Ha! And this is what it said.

“God says, “Why are you so fearful, oh ye of little faith?” (Matthew 8:26) When the door gets closed in your face, didn’t I give you hands to knock?  When folk talk about you, didn’t I give you knees to pray for them!  When you mess up, didn’t I give you a mind to think & learn from your mistakes? When your heartache seems to be too hard to bear, am I not a heart fixer? When folk speak death in your life, didn’t I give you a tongue that speaks life? (Proverbs 18:21)  When the car stops, didn’t I give you legs to walk?   When money is low, am I not your provider! When times are hard, won’t I be your way-maker?  When folk leave, am I not always there! When sickness comes, am I not a healer? When the job lays you off, don’t I always come through? When husband/wife doesn’t act right, don’t I wipe your tears?  When your gas light is on, don’t I get you home safe?  Then where is your faith?

Matthew 17:20, God says, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you!”

Isn’t that enough? Stop stalling and step out on your faith. Surely if it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to move your mountain, imagine what an immeasurable amount of faith will do for you? That job, car, house, business, etc., is yours!  But YOU must have faith!”

Still true today! Thank you again for following our blog. Ours as in yours and mine! I could do this without you but I don’t want too.
