The only reason the devil is bringing up your past is to make you abort the purposed potential God has given you for this present time.

Yes, you’ve made mistakes.
Yes, you’re making mistakes.
Yes, you’ve sinned.
Yes, you’re in sin.
Yes, you’re not perfect.
Yes, you’ll mess up.

However, God knows you (flaws and all) and He trust you. Why not trust Him with you by saying yes.

Devotional Nugget: Don’t judge the process

Don’t ever judge the progress of spiritual promotion by the process because the pain will leave you pondering if it’s worth it.

Instead, focus on the promiser (God) who has the power to promote you because of your potential even after you’ve failed the evaluation.
