Daily Devotional – 3/17/2020 “Stay Covered under the Blood!”

With the world being unsure, while a virus spreads from place to person, media causing chaos and questions left unanswered … I’m still believing God. And I plead the blood over every person who will read this. I pray the blood of the lamb shall cover your house like it did in Exodus 12 and sickness shall not dwell there. I pray your lungs will work at full capacity. I pray no fever; no harmful bacteria or viruses shall overtake your body. I pray your home, your house of worship, your work place, gym, doctor’s office and wherever else you go is cleansed.

I pray for every medical professional that God will protect your body, immune system and organs. I pray He’ll cover you, so tightly, that it’ll feel as though you have a shield around you. While you work, God is protecting, and you shall work, freely without worry of sickness attacking your body.

I pray for every leader, in church and in the world that you incline your ears to hear God and not man. May your decisions be made under God’s authority and not man. May you serve with a clean heart and hands and may your families be covered.

I pray for every employer and employee who may find yourselves worrying over finances caused by the state of the world. May you not lack. I pray no meals or bills are missed. I pray that instead of worrying, you’ll take God at His word to never leave or forsake. I even pray that you’ll find yourself in a better position than you were before because you trusted God.

I also pray that while we wait, we do so in expectancy of God. And while you have the time; use it wisely. Turn off the TV and open your bible. Pray and spend some quiet time with God. Then spend time with your family. Stop taking moments for granted.

“The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.” — Exodus 12:13
