I had a dream

I remember it vividly which is weird because I rarely do unless I immediately jot it down. Anyway. I was working a new job. The first day, no problem. The second day, for some reason, my husband dropped me off but once inside, I couldn’t find the way to my desk. I walked this long corridor that had periodic stations where I’d have to scan my badge to pass. Each time it worked, but I still wasn’t where I should have been to do the work I was assigned to do.

I asked God for revelation. He said, Marcy, that’s what He calls me when we talk. God said, “Marcy, you have access, but it won’t matter if you’re in the wrong place.”

This year, get in the right place. Stop staying where it’s comfortable. Stop being fearful and worried. Stop waiting for the right time. Stop holding out for a bigger crowd. Stop trying to be who you aren’t. Stop trying to do what you haven’t been called to do. Stop being held by loyalty and guilt. Stop wandering and jumping from place to place. Yes, you have your anointing, but you won’t experience the fullness of it being in the wrong place.

Get in the right place!
