I wanted to stop in and share a few pictures of my granddaddy’s home going celebration. And oh, what a celebration it was. So many friends showed up to offer their support and it warmed my heart to know that granddaddy touched the lives of so many either personally or through his children and grandchildren. I am forever indebted to all of you who have prayed for us, who called, text, stopped by, brought food and who sent flowers. This has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with but having such an amazing support system has made it bearable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God continue to bless you in order for you to be a blessing to others. Lakisha

Lakisha is an author of over thirty Christian Fiction novels, devotionals and journals. Over the course of her career, she's had the opportunity to meet new people, win awards, and most of all encourage. Ask her and she’ll tell you, ”It’s not just writing, its ministry.”
In addition to being a self-published author, she’s also a wife of 26 years, mother of 2, Grammie to 1, Pastor of Temple Church, Sr. Business Analyst and more.
Yet, if you were to strip away everything, you’d see that Lakisha is simply a woman who boldly, unapologetically and gladly loves and works for God.

Good pics. Hang in there, it does get easier. You have my prayers.
