What if …

What if the fall you’ve taken wasn’t meant to punish you but to position you? What if the fall wasn’t meant to punish you but place you in a position to be chosen? What if the fall that crippled you, is also the thing that changes you? What if the thing that hurts you, turns out to be the very thing that hides you until God honors you? What if the mistake that caused jail time, was the thing God is going to use to bless you? What if the bad decisions that ruined your credit and put you in a desolate place is the very place, you’ll hear God calling your name to be used?

Sometimes, it’s in the low place when we seek God and it’s in our desolate place where you can’t produce a harvest, that causes us to hold to God’s unchanging hand. Sometimes, it takes us falling into a sunken place that makes us try God again. Sometimes, we may have to experience Lo-debar before we believe God can provide.

Just thought I'd share this for somebody who's experiencing a dark, dry, desolate season of your life. You think God has forgotten you, but what if like Mephibosheth, in Second Samuel 9, the king is about to bless you because the low place is what kept you alive?
